Dr.Brad Dosher is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. Born and raised in Amarillo Texas, Dr. Dosher graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He received his MD from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the UT Health Science Center at Houston. During his residency Dr. Dosher trained at the busiest trauma center in the nation, and worked with the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, and University of Houston Athletics.
Dr.Dosher completed his Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship at Vanderbilt University. While training in Nashville, he served as a team physician for the Nashville Predators NHL hockey team, Nashville SC MLS soccer team, Nashville Sounds AAA baseball team, and Vanderbilt Division I SEC athletics department. He completed specialized training in minimally invasive knee and shoulder arthroscopy, as well as complex injuries to shoulder and knee.
Dr. Dosher enjoys treating acute and chronic injuries to patients of all ages. He has experience caring for athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to professional athletes. His specialties include arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization, complex open shoulder stabilization, arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACL), arthroscopic meniscal procedures, arthroscopic cartilage procedures, and shoulder arthroplasty. In addition, Dr. Dosher has extensive experience treating traumatic injuries and fractures in adult and pediatric patients. He has also treats common orthopedic conditions including knee and hip arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, ganglion cysts, tennis elbow, and many other bone and joint conditions.
Dr. Dosher is excited to return to his hometown of Amarillo and treat the community that helped raise him. He will serve as a team physician for West Texas A&M University and Eastern New Mexico University athletics. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, golfing, skiing, and traveling.
